RETAIL CHAIN CREATES 200 JOBS, GOBBLES UP RECORD-SETTING BUILDING
A furniture retail chain is creating 200 jobs in Tennessee's fastest-growing county, and doing so by leasing a massive building that claims a certain distinction in the region's industrial development market.
Rooms To Go, headquartered in Florida, is investing $69 million in Lebanon, according to a state news release issued Thursday. The company will be operational by year's end at a 902,000-square-foot warehouse at the Cedar Farms development in Wilson County, off I-840. Rooms To Go will use about 5% of the space for its first outlet store in Tennessee.

About The Project
Al. Neyer partnered with New York Life Real Estate Investors on two speculative Class A bulk industrial buildings totaling 1.5 million SF. The first building, as part of Phase I, is one of the largest speculative buildings ever built in the Nashville market at 902,000 SF. Cedar Farms will also have a second pad available that could accommodate a build-to-suit structure of up to 600,000 SF.
The tilt-wall building offers 36’ clear height and LED lighting in 70’ speed bays, enhancing a tenant’s distribution capabilities.
National furniture retailer Rooms To Go opened their new 902,000 square foot warehouse at Cedar Farms Building 1 in 2019, which included a 40,000 square foot retail outlet store and created 200 new jobs. You can read more about the project here.
