VANDERBILT HEALTH HENDERSONVILLE EXTENDS SERVICES IN SUMNER COUNTY WITH 31,000-SQUARE-FOOT FACILITY

Vanderbilt University Medical Center has recently expanded services in Sumner County opening Vanderbilt Health Hendersonville, a new 31,000-square-foot facility offering adult and pediatric outpatient specialty care, imaging and lab services.

Construction on the natural stone, brick and metal building, located at 128 N. Anderson Lane, began in March 2020 and was constructed by Al. Neyer, who also erected Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt’s new pediatric facility in Murfreesboro.

“This attractive new facility provides ready access to a range of services that complement the offerings of our existing clinics in Gallatin and Hendersonville," said Dr. C. Wright Pinson, deputy chief executive officer and chief health system officer for VUMC in a release.

"Hendersonville is a vibrant city, and we are proud to have a greater presence in this dynamic community.”

ABOUT THE PROJECT

This is Al. Neyer’s second project for Vanderbilt University Medical Center, catalyzed after the design-build team delivered superior service on the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt pediatric facility in Murfreesboro.

The 31,000 SF facility will offer adult outpatient specialty care, along with limited pediatric specialty care and imaging services. The facility will feature 40 clinic exam rooms, urgent care services, and imaging capability such as CT, ultrasound and X-ray. Specialties on-site at the single-story facility include women’s health, pediatrics, adult primary care, orthopedics, imaging, rheumatology, and walk-in care. Additionally, the facility will have four chairs for non-chemotherapy medical infusions.
