"Cincinnati-based development firm Al. Neyer is looking to purchase and develop the site of the former Showcase Cinemas in Erlanger.
The firm is looking to possibly build three buildings on the site: a $50 million to $60 million project with the possibility of creating up to 1,700 jobs.
“We are excited to be working with the city of Erlanger again,” said Al. Neyer senior vice president of design-build operations Matthew Blankenship. “This is an exciting development.”
Al. Neyer previously worked on the Sterling Cut Glass building on Olympic Boulevard in Erlanger. It is currently in negotiations and filing appropriate permits to purchase and develop the 135 acres at Meadow Lane that was once home to a multiplex theater that closed about 15 years ago. The vacant theater was demolished last September"
