"The developer and manager of an 117-unit apartment complex in Clifton say the new residences are getting a warm reception from the community.

Gaslight Property's Whitfield development at 3240 Whitfield Ave. is the Clifton-based company's first new residential construction project since opening in 1991, said chief executive Dave Taylor. It also is the first new multi-building apartment complex in Clifton's Gaslight District in more than 30 years.

With the more than $16.5 million apartment community's grand opening Thursday, officials said more than 70 percent of the apartment units have been leased.....

Village Green manages the property. First Financial Bank and Huntington Bank provided project financing and Bellwether Real Estate Capital was financing consultant. Also on the project, NorthPointe Group was development manager, Al. Neyer was the general contractor, CR Architecture & Design was the architect."
