Medical Leader Expands Presence in Middle Tennessee

Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hopsital at Vanderbilt (MCJCHV) will soon provide critical healthcare to more children in Greater Nashville thanks to a new medical office building in Murfreesboro. Al. Neyer is serving as developer and design-builder for the project, which broke ground at the end of October.

MCJCHV, which is part of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, will offer pediatric specialty care, outpatient surgery, diagnostic imaging services, and urgent care with after-hours services. In addition to general surgery services, patients will have access to pediatric specialty care such as gastroenterology, otolaryngology, audiology, and urology.

The master plan for the building includes steel column and roof joist structure, slab on grade with metal roof decking, and a combination of natural stone, brick, and metal panel façade.

Crews began preparing the site for construction in September, and Al. Neyer’s construction management team expects to complete the project in November of 2019.
