"CinFed Credit Union could move its headquarters to Oakley and add 13 jobs as part of an expansion into a new office building.
Cincinnati City Council will soon consider extending a tax exemption to CinFed as part of the credit union's plan to locate near the northwest corner of Ibsen Avenue and the Kennedy Connector. CinFed would occupy one of two new buildings envisioned in the corridor by site developers Al. Neyer and Vandercar Holdings.
The agreement with the city calls for extending a 15-year tax exemption on improvements if the CinFed building is developed according to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design standards. Cincinnati Public Schools will receive 25 percent of the value of the abatement each year
The credit union's new two-story building is expected to feature a first-floor bank branch with a drive-thru and first- and second-floor offices, according to the city. CinFed picked Al. Neyer to be the project's general contractor."
