Nearly 700 Cincinnati Children’s employees are settling into their new space at the Offices @ Vernon Place. Al. Neyer and Cincinnati Children’s held an official ribbon-cutting on December 4, celebrating the completion of the new 4-story, 146,000 SF office building.

The office is the latest addition to the hospital’s expansive campus in Avondale. Cincinnati Children’s wanted to create a modern, open space that was specifically designed for the business units that would occupy the building. The main goal was to bring employees from several locations into one building to increase collaboration and efficiency.

The 4-story office was built on top of a 5-story parking garage. A courtyard was added between Vernon Place and the existing Vernon Manor building, also renovated by Al. Neyer. The offices offer an open floor plan with private offices on the north and south perimeters.  Floor-to-ceiling windows allow for an abundance of natural light, as well as sprawling views of the adjacent Cincinnati neighborhoods.

Al. Neyer started construction of the Offices @ Vernon Place in January 2016 and it was completed in September 2017.
