Developers select firm to market 1 million SF building near Amazon Air hub

The developers of a more than 1 million-square-foot speculative industrial building in Northern Kentucky have selected a commercial real estate firm to help them fill it.
Hillwood and Al Neyer, which are developing Aero Commerce Center, selected the team of Mike Lowe, Jeremy Kraus, Tim Schenke and Doug Whitten at CBRE to lease theIR bulk distribution center. Aero Commerce Center is expected to be more than 1.07 million square feet, or more than 24.5 acres under roof, at the southeast corner of Burlington Pike and Aero Parkway, just south of Amazon.com Inc.’s $1.5 billion Air hub.
Dan Ruh, Al Neyer’s executive vice president and Cincinnati market leader, said industrial users are looking at the area around Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport for locations to expand.
“This site hits all of the marks for a perfect development opportunity,” Ruh said. “It is directly across the street from Amazon’s Air hub and is minutes away from the region’s most-traveled interstates and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.”

About The Project
Al. Neyer is working again with Hillwood, a Perot Company, on a 1.07 million square foot distribution center adjacent from Amazon Prime's Air Hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The building will be more than 24 acres under roof when complete; featuring a 40' clear, 589 car, and 181 trailer parking spaces.
In May, Al. Neyer announced the sale of 11 acres of the total 55-acre development at the corner of KY 18 (Burlington Pike) and KY 1017 (Aero Parkway) to BRG Realty Group. BRG Apartments, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, will build 240 new apartment homes in Boone County at the corner of Burlington Pike and Aero Parkway. These 1- and 2-bedroom apartment homes will feature a clubhouse, pool, and access to the bike trail as well as other residential amenities.
