Al. Neyer Celebrates Owners’ Day
We recently celebrated our employee-owners at the annual Owners' Day celebration. This year, we hit the road and spent the day at Keeneland Racecourse.
At Al. Neyer, we pride ourselves on a culture that inspires, challenges, supports, and rewards our employee-owners. Every employee is an employee-owner and owns equity shares of the company. In 2014, the sixth generation of a previously family-run business sold itself to its employees; the transition has been a tremendous success ever since. You can read more about Al. Neyer's 125 years of history here.
As part of our Core Values, We Run to Win and Stop to Celebrate. We know that this focus is one of our keys to building and retaining a strong team. And we can all agree that we thrive on a competitive spirit and enjoy celebrate milestones big and small.
So a trip to the races was the obvious choice for our annual Owner's Day celebration. Employee-owners from our offices in Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Nashville met in Lexington, Kentucky, at Keeneland Racecourse. The fun-filled day included a picnic lunch and team recognition of a special milestone for VP of Architecture Pat Moore for 25 years at Al. Neyer. Our employee-owners enjoyed the rest of the day cheering on their selected horses and catching up with colleagues.
We're already looking forward to the next Owner's Day!
