Lesley Schaefer Koth serves as General Counsel and leads our in-house Legal and Risk teams. A licensed attorney for more than 20 years, she brings valuable legal expertise to all business areas for Merus, including development, construction, and asset management. As a result, Lesley’s extensive background in real estate helps us to provide due diligence to our clients and partners throughout every project phase.
Lesley’s known for her exceptional ability to create and enhance processes, working both efficiently and responsively. She is an integral member of our executive leadership team, and manages the legal aspects of all corporate matters, encompassing insurance, labor, and board governance.
